![]() ![]() Having complained formally in writing after not receiving the surrender forms that I had requested by email, they actually wrote back and said they would investigate why they had not responded to my emails and had not sent me the forms, and would let me know the outcome. We shall see when (if) the surrender forms arrive in due course. Update to my 1* negative review below: I have upped my score because after emailing the address given in the 5* reviews by SL, I received a callback (within 10 mins!) from a very nice well-spoken lady (whom I give 5*), who explained the reasons for the delays. ![]() If I have any problems when the policy us due for payment I would not hesitate to take immediate legal action. It's quite unbelievable that looking at all the reviews and problems people are experiencing the financial ombudman has not stepped in to make them get their house in order. This is a truly awful company and would advise that you do not do any business with this organisation. As I write this review I have been on hold for 35 minutes and counting. I thought the matter had been sorted in August but sadly not, the issue has now arisen again with a failed collection in Septenber. Like many reviews I have been on hold for hours trying to contact customer service. Informed them this policy has been running for over 35 years with no change in any details or bank collection account. ![]() I have a whole life policy with Sun Life and since January 2022, they have missed taking the direct debit on the odd month They first accused me of missing payments. ![]()
